About
Established in 2011, The Redemption Power House is a deliverance ministry with a divine mandate to redeem destinies, as inspired by the scripture of Luke 4:18. Under the leadership of Reverend Prosper Lanya and Pastor Grace Liberty, the sanctuary is located in Donholm, Manyanja Road, on the ground floor of the Super House building.
Our Foundations and Leadership Reverend Lanya brings a rich spiritual heritage to the ministry, having been ordained by Pastor E.A. Adeboye and serving as a pioneer for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Kenya alongside Pastor Prince Obas–Ike. After years of faithful service, the Lanyas were officially released with a blessing to pursue God's will and plant a new church. Their spiritual journey took a significant turn when they met Rev. Liberty Gitonga, who now provides their spiritual covering. Rev. Gitonga played a pivotal role in training the leadership in deliverance ministry and was instrumental in helping Pastor Grace Liberty activate the spiritual gifts she operates in today.
Growth and Resilience. Since its inception, the ministry has celebrated 11 anniversaries, witnessing many transformed lives through missions both locally and across the world. The early years were marked by significant opposition and scrutiny, as the deliverance ministry—characterised by miracles, signs, and wonders—was a relatively new concept in many parts of the country at the time. Despite these challenges, the leadership views such opposition as a natural consequence of "causing havoc" to the enemy's kingdom and following the pattern of Christ’s own ministry.
Our Strengths and Mandate. The Redemption Power House is built on three pillars: the word of God, worship, and people. One of the church's greatest strengths is its highly skilled music team, whose spiritual capacity and talent have successfully drawn people from the streets into the house of God.
Today, the ministry continues to press forward to fulfill its mandate, maintaining a focus on wholehearted devotion to God. As Reverend Lanya describes it, ministry is like a garden that must be tended every single day through a total reliance on God’s strength.

The Power Voices Ministry
The Power Voices ministry uses music and song as a powerful bridge to God, facilitating a deep spiritual connection for the congregation. The team is comprised of skilled musicians and vocalists who collaborate to create an atmosphere of reverence and praise. The goal is to lead people into heartfelt devotion and encounter, offering an authentic and spiritually enriching sacrifice of worship. Through focused practice and prayer, they strive for musical excellence and spiritual impact in every service.

Our Youth Ministry empowers the next generation by providing a supportive community dedicated to spiritual growth. We offer relevant teaching, mentorship and opportunities for young people to discover their faith, build strong character and develop essential leadership skills. Through social events, service projects and Bible studies, we offer a safe space where youth can ask tough questions, build friendships and actively use their talents to impact the world around them.
The Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry nurtures young hearts by providing a safe, fun and engaging environment where kids discover God's love and foundational biblical truths. Through age-appropriate worship, storytelling and interactive activities, we equip kids with a lifelong faith. Our dedicated volunteers nurture a Christ-centered community, helping children grow in their understanding of Jesus and their friendships.
